You’ve probably heard of JOI-Design, and if you’ve been to one of our exhibitions, you’ve most likely met Peter Joehnk already!
Peter, please can you tell me a bit about your role?
I am founding partner of JOI-Design and I studied Interior Architecture.
What are you looking to get out of your membership with CSI+?
As we have been in hotel design for ages, we have been approached by cruise ship operators, who wanted a bit more “land style” on their ships a while ago. We like the new field of design, but we are still learning and searching for experienced hotel suppliers “on sea”.
What do you like to do when you’re not busy looking after all those ships?
Besides my professional life as an interior designer (and manager of a large design studio), I collect mugs (preferably from museum shops), I like my little “Vespa” and I am happily looking forward to become a grandpa in December.
