Let’s meet Argo Silvdee, founder of the Estonian Marine and Manufacturing Initiative!
Argo, can you tell me about your role with EMI?
I’m the founder and visionary behind EMI, I have been dreaming and working on this goal for about 10 years and now it has finally happened. Today I’m as Deal-Maker / CEO in company whose main role is to work on new businesses and hold the key relationships with our home and worldwide partners. And of course, make sure that the world knows who EMI is and what we do!
What is your favourite project to work on?
For years I was working on one project at the time. 1 to 3 years and then started new one. Today, what I love is that I can support international shipbuilding/refitting industry with different products and services from Estonia at the same time. I love to work with international CEO, Purchase, New business managers, architects etc. and support them on finding solutions for their challenges in Estonia. I love to connect people, make the deal happen and then find next solution to our friends and customers.
What do you like about CSI+?
I love the community and the online events we have once a month. It really brings the community together and gives us a chance to really network.
How do you like to spend your time when you’re not working?
I love my family and time with them. And I love the countryside and calm life. I love running, cross-country skiing (also slalom) and of course nice warm sun where I can relax.
