Starting out as a small collection of customisable tables and chairs, filling gaps of demands in the global market, Table Place Chairs has since grown into a full range of design-led contract furniture.

This week, we’re getting to know Philip Macaulay, Global Hospitably Director with some quick-fire questions!

Can you tell me a little bit about your role with Table Place Chairs?
It’s a newly formed role to expand the Table Place Chairs portfolio within the hotel and cruise markets on a global scale.

What has been your favourite project to work on?
Too early yet with TPC, but in my previous role I’d have to say the Pan Pacific Hotel – London.

Do you have an industry insight or top tip that you can share with the community?
We do like to socialise!!

What do you love about the Cruise Interiors industry?
It’s a very close knit community

What are you looking forward to this year?
Seeing the back of the last 2 years and reengaging with Operators and the A&D community

I have a very large collection of 90’s House and Techno vinyl – I used to be one of those bedroom DJs!
