Bree Louie is a regular at our Community Networking Hour event, but how much do you know about Bree and her responsibilities with Holland America?
I sat down with Bree to find out more!
Bree, can you tell me about your role with Holland America?
I am the Hotel Interior Superintendent for 5 ships within the Holland America Fleet (Rotterdam, Nieuw Statendam, Koningsdam, Zaandam, Volendam) meaning I am in charge of repair and maintenance of interior hotel items for those vessels.
I work with both the shipboard team and 3rd party contractors to ensure the best experience for the guests whether it be relaxing in their stateroom, sipping wine at one of our amazing bars or lounges, or enjoying a live concert at one of our many stages.
That’s great! We know you’re really active with the CSI+ community. What are you looking to get out of your membership?
I have found that the social and networking aspects of this industry are important to me both professionally and personally and the past two years have obviously limited this. This platform is the perfect answer for that right now and moving into the future!
Can you share a fun fact about yourself or something you like to do outside of work?
I love to bake and I especially enjoy it during this part of the year because all the fall flavours and soon we get into Holiday cookie season.
