Newbuild Project Highlight

Ship name: Norwegian Aqua

Cruise line: Norwegian Cruise Line

First sailing: March 2025

The Norwegian Aqua is the first vessel in the expanded Prima Plus class. At 156,300 tons, the Prima Plus class is a step up in size from Norwegian Prima‘s 143,535 tons. Norwegian Aqua has the capacity to carry 3571 guests, in comparison to the Plus class capacity of 3099 passengers.

London-based design studio and CSI+ Member SMC Design designed the cruise line’s first Thai speciality restaurant, Sukhothai. Other design studios involved in the design of this vessel include Rockwell Group, Studio DADO and Piero Lissoni.
